"I have
been training at PTC with Mark McLaughlin for two years
now and the results I have experienced have been
exceptional. I have never felt so strong and explosive
in my life. Having the results transfer over to the
field has helped me take my career to the next level.
Mark's grasp on the physiological aspects of training
has helped me get into the best shape of my life!"

"PTC
elevated my game to the next level. Coming out of
college I didn't believe I had the physical skills to
play at the next level. PTC developed a program which
improved my performance were it counts, on the field.
After signing my 2 year contract with the L.A. Avengers
this was proof positive."

"I
feel Mark McLaughlin is one of the premier trainers
around. He is the "total package" as he has cutting edge
knowledge, a desire to help you be successful, and the
technology to elevate your ability to a new level. We
have worked with Mark for two years and our athletes are
stronger, faster, have more explosive power and our
injuries have decreased significantly.
His expertise was vital to
our league championship and top ten ranking during the
2007 season."

"During my time training with Mark McLaughlin and
Performance Training Center I set and broke numerous
personal records in a plethora of disciplines that,
without the guidance and supervision of Mark, would have
never been possible. The knowledge of sport and
performance that I have gained while working with Mark
has proven itself indispensable and was a key factor in
determining my field of study in Exercise Science. I am
glad to be a part of the Performance Training Center
community and look forward to witnessing the production
of the athlete of tomorrow."

"Mark, Jean and I would like to thank you again for your
work with Travis and Holly over the last four years, we
know that the training they have received at PTC is a
large part of the success they have had in high school
athletics. To them you are not just their personal
trainer you are friend and mentor, you have made
training fun, challenging and something they will
continue after high school. The motto of PTC is Results
Period! Well, I will testify to that, Travis was 130 lbs
in the early summer before entering high school and I
was not sure he had the speed and strength to play high
school football but by the time football season had
arrived with your training and his desire he had put on
a solid 20 lbs. We were sold on PTC from then on. Travis
made the varsity team as a sophomore. Last year as a
Junior he was a first team all conference linebacker;
this year he is looking to get his playing weight up to
185 and keep working on his speed. I have no doubt that
he will accomplish that goal at PTC.
As for Holly, who started
coming to PTC when she was twelve, the specific training
she has received for her speed and quickness has been
phenomenal. Your work with her leg strength and her
explosiveness has helped her as a Freshman at only five
feet tall to make the LaSalle's varsity basketball team;
even tougher earn a starting position on Oregon City's
varsity lacrosse team, that is rated second in state! I
would like to say if your looking for a program that is
fun, will teach and challenge you child Mark
McLaughlin's PTC is the best! You get RESULTS PERIOD!
Thanks again Mark, we wish you continued success"

"In November of 2009, our son Ed with the recommendation of a very well respected coach in our community, sat with us at dinner and told us about a man he had met who was training athletes and felt that Mark McLaughlin would be able to help our son gain the strength and weight needed to compete as a quarterback. Standing tall at 6'4 and weighing 138 pounds Ed decided to listen to our friend and start on the adventure at PTC.
Now almost seven months later he is 6'5 and weighs in at 170. His strength and desire to keep up his weight has increased his commitment to continue with Mark and Sean at PTC. I cannot express the excitement and encouragement Mark has given to our son regarding training and life skills. Marks ability to research his specific training technique has enhanced Ed's ability to be stronger, go from a 22"
vertical jump to a 30" vert., decrease his 40 speed from 5.2 to a 4.9.
Mark Mclaughlin, and now with the addition of Sean Fullerton, has PTC focusing even more on the athlete and that athletes particular goals. My husband and I feel blessed to have such a superior trainer in our sons life and we are thankful for Marks ability to continually push Ed forward to the next level. Looking forward to 220 by his senior year in 2012!"

"3 years ago I
received a phone call from a close friend who coached at
our rival high school. He said that he was going to
regret giving me this advice, but in the best interest
of AJ he was compelled to call. "Send him to see Mark
McLaughlin at PTC." It was the best advice in athletic
development we could have possibly received. AJ was a
good athlete with a great deal of talent, but no where
near his potential. Mark has worked with him over the
last three years to produce a top tier athlete with a
wonderfully competitive attitude. The key to Mark's
success is that he appeals not only to the physical
needs of the athlete but also to the mental needs.
When
people ask what AJ is doing at PTC to develop his
skills, Mary and I don't even know where to start. The
physical workout's are designed to encompass the "whole
body." Before PTC we found most trainers focused on a
specific sport or a specific need (speed, agility,
strength, stamina, etc). Mark is dedicated to developing
the entire athlete, from weight gain or loss to the
mental edge to win at the highest levels. AJ competes in
Football, Track, and Ski racing so it is important to us
that he is prepared for all sports.
When I try to
describe PTC I am reminded of the old time boxing gym's
of New York. This is not where one goes to be on a stair
master and watch ESPN on a big screen. No this place is
about work. When you walk in, there is no glitz, this
place is all business. And the Athletes recognize this
so the workouts are focused and determined. The
attention that AJ has been given cannot be replaced. For
example, when AJ was competing in the regional CYO track
Championships it was 103 degrees. I got an email from
Mark on my blackberry that lined out exactly what AJ
should be doing to warm up and be prepared between 7
heats of 4 different races. (and no Mark I don't carry
protein drinks in my car!!) If it's results that define
a program then I know PTC is the right place. When you
are an athlete working out next to pro athlete's in your
sport it inspires you to take your game to a higher
level. Lastly, PTC is a place where AJ wants to go. He
enjoys spending time with Mark and the "crew" at PTC and
looks forward to his workouts everyday. Thank you Mark
for all the time and effort you have given AJ and we
look forward to the next 3 years!"

"As a parent, you are always trying to assist your young athletes in building their skills in the sports they have chosen to play. We do research on what camps to send them to, clinics to participate in, and try to offer the proper diet to keep up with a healthy weight gain. During the season our athletes train and improve with their teammates, but as we all know, the greatest improvement is made off the field and court.
My son, Michael Wright, high school junior, spent many years trying to find that perfect fit for training during the off season. I remember the endless drives to the gyms after school, to the far away locations and getting back late at night from those training sessions three days a week. Last year a friend told me about a local training facility that produces amazing results.
I made an appointment to meet Mark McLaughlin at Performance Training Center to discuss his program further. An hour later I was sold!
I was so impressed not only by the results that could be obtained, but by the structured programs offered and individualized workouts with a focus on nutrition. I also enrolled my other son, Matthew, his first experience of training with a professional.
Michael's training program is catered for football (line position) and Matthew's (high school freshman) for basketball (point guard). Their workouts are conducted in small groups with their peers/ teammates that bring a competitive environment to their workout with encouragement.
Their improvement has been seen in speed, footwork, jumping, endurance and strength. Following the suggested diet their steady weight gain has been accomplished through a healthy process, not at the dollar menu at fast food places. They have also learned about what to eat before and after workouts, practices and games.
It is important to know that PTC does not over train their athletes. Athletes are taught the importance of giving your body the proper time to recover by taking time off.
PTC also offers physical therapy as part of their training program at their facility. Matthew’s workouts include one day a week of therapy in order to loosen the ligaments and tendons in his hip during his current growth spurt.
What I am most impressed by is the desire Michael and Matthew have to attend their workouts with Mark and Sean. As a parent, you can offer many opportunities for athletes to improve their skills, but when they “want it for themselves” is when you see the best results! They look forward to going to their sessions and get upset if they are not able to attend due to illness or other sports commitments because of the results THEY see in their performance.
Performance Training is a perfect fit for our family. Michael and Matthew are not a “number”; they are part of the team and are treated as a member of their family. Mark takes a sincere interest in the boys as a person by asking about their practices and games and keeping in contact with parents for feedback on results we have seen as well.
I recommend PTC not only for the outstanding program they provide, but also for creating athletes who have the desire to work hard to be the best at the sport and position they are training for. The results are amazing!"
